Shipping Policy
Shipping Carrier
We ship all orders using
Purolator Express. Most destinations in Canada are
delivered overnight (1 business day),
while a small number of remote locations may require 2
business days.
Shipping Rates
Ontario & Quebec
- Shipping typically ranges from CAD $20-30.
- Free shipping is available on plant
purchases of CAD $300 or more (before tax).
- The free shipping threshold applies to plant
purchases only and does not
include hardware, supplies, or membership fees.
Other Canadian Provinces and Territories
- Shipping typically ranges from CAD $40-50.
- Free shipping is available on plant
purchases of CAD $500 or more (before tax).
- The free shipping threshold applies to plant
purchases only and does not
include hardware, supplies, or membership fees.
Final shipping charges will be quoted based on
the destination address.
Orders that already receive promotional
discounts, special event pricing, or complimentary member store credit are
not eligible for free shipping unless
otherwise specified.
Winter Shipping
We only ship during the winter when weather
conditions are suitable for live plants. If temperatures remain too low, we will
hold your order at no additional charge until it is safe to ship.
When necessary, we will use
insulated packaging and heat packs to help protect plants
during transit.
Shipping Liability
MagicOasis is not responsible for delays,
mishandling, loss, or damage caused by the shipping carrier.
We are also not responsible for packages that are
lost or stolen after delivery, or for packages that are not collected by the
customer in a timely manner.
If package theft is a concern in your area,
please let us know before shipment. We can request a
signature-required delivery from the carrier (additional
charges apply). Customers are responsible for ensuring someone is available to
receive the package.
Live Plant Shipping
Some cosmetic changes during transit are normal,
including:
- Minor leaf damage
- Leaf drop
- Yellowing leaves
When appropriate, we may pack plants with
sphagnum moss or bark to help maintain root
moisture during shipping.
Plant Health Guarantee
If you believe a plant arrived in unhealthy
condition, please contact us within 72 hours of delivery
and provide clear photos.
After reviewing the condition of the plant, we
may offer one of the following at our discretion:
- A partial refund (25%-100%)
- A replacement plant
- Another appropriate resolution
Claims submitted more than 72 hours after delivery
are not eligible for compensation or replacement.
